The UNI 11427 EcoPelle certification represents: a certificate documenting the production of leather with reduced environmental impact.

Reducing the use of heavy metals in tanning has enabled us to minimise the impact our hides have on the ecosystem and life.

Metal-free tanned leather protects our skin, is health-friendly, hypoallergenic and hypotoxic.

Our leathers are made by the sun! Thanks to our photovoltaic panel system, we can produce an important part of the electricity needed in processing.

Saving resources is the basis! At various stages of tanning, electricity consumption is reduced by 20% and water consumption by 22% thanks to our technology.

How can we contribute more? Our fleet of company vehicles runs on electricity, avoiding the use of fossil fuels.

Lwg creates alignment on environmental priorities, offering visibility to sustainable best practices and providing suggested guidelines for continuous improvement.

LWG's goal is to make the material recognisable from the producer to the retailer, ensuring transparency in the supply chain.

With this certification, the best practices of the tanning industry are highlighted, certifying environmentally friendly production and systemic quality management.

From earth to earth.

The certification aims to communicate in an immediate and effective way, the sustainability characteristics
of the product and its production process.

The compliance of a material with the requirements of the "Biodegradable Leather" mark makes it possible to declare and communicate to customers the biodegradability under industrial composting conditions and the degradability in tanning waste treatment plants.
